Brass when polished has a similar colour to gold but without the hefty price tag.
It requires a little maintance to retain the look and when worn it can leave a green mark on the finger.
Brass will eventually darken over time. This is the nature of this metal. The dark patenta can be polished back at home. Just use a Brasso type polish to bring it back to its beautiful gold colour.
